A real audit example
Texas Deck & Fence
Four findings you can check. Each names the page, the evidence and the recommended fix.
Public website checks: 4 Oct 2026 IST · Semrush organic report: 2 Oct 2026, US desktop. Independent example; no client relationship or endorsement is claimed.
93reported organic keywords
0estimated organic traffic
272backlinks in database
163referring domains
Semrush estimates, not first-party analytics. Zero estimated traffic does not establish zero actual visitors. The full report separates estimates, direct checks and opportunities.
Evidence The rendered composite-decking guide has four links to #quote, no element with id="quote", and no form. Source checks found the same missing quote target on the guide hub and all 10 guide articles.
Why it matters Readers following a quote button stay on a page without the promised quote section. This is a verified lead-path defect; lost leads were not measured.
Exact fix In the shared guide header and footer, change href="#quote" to href="/#quote". Alternatively add a real, usable quote form with id="quote" to each guide. Verify every guide CTA on mobile and desktop.
Evidence The hero image /images/showcase/neighborhood.jpg has loading="lazy", no fetchpriority and no srcset. PageSpeed identified it as the mobile LCP element and measured 6.9 s LCP in one lab run.
Why it matters Deferring the main image can delay the first useful view. The lab result identifies a performance task; Google supplied no real-user Core Web Vitals data.
Exact fix Set this above-the-fold image to loading="eager" and fetchpriority="high". Supply appropriately sized WebP/AVIF sources with srcset and sizes; retain explicit dimensions. Keep off-screen images lazy-loaded. Rerun the same mobile test after deployment.
Evidence HTTPS www and non-www homepages both returned 200 without a redirect and identical HTML hashes. Canonicals and sitemap URLs use non-www, while relative internal links on the www page resolve to www.
Why it matters The canonical signal exists, but links and delivery use competing hostname forms. Consistency reduces duplicate crawl paths; actual Google canonical selection is unverified.
Exact fix On the audited website, redirect every HTTPS www URL with one permanent 301 to the existing non-www canonical host, preserving path and query. Normalize slash variants and internal links to the canonical form. Verify redirect chains, canonicals and sitemap entries.

City-page section navigation points to missing IDs
Evidence Dallas deck installation links Services, Reviews, Our Work and About to #services, #reviews, #gallery and #why-us. None of these IDs exists there. The same four missing targets occur on all 20 city pages and 11 guide pages.
Why it matters Visitors cannot reach the promised sections through this navigation. This is an internal-navigation defect, not proof that the pages are unindexed.
Exact fix In the shared secondary-page navigation, use /#services, /#reviews, /#gallery and /#why-us to reach the existing homepage sections, or add matching sections locally. Keep local #quote links only on pages with an actual quote section.
Also reviewed: 32 sitemap URLs, titles and H1s, schema, city × service coverage, 93 observed ranking rows and backlink samples. Google indexing and field Core Web Vitals remain unverified.
A fence-installation search lands on a pool-fencing page.
Semrush shows “fence installation frisco tx” at position 68, with estimated US monthly volume 140 and KD 6%, landing on the Frisco pool-fencing page. A general installation page could better match that intent if the business actually offers the service. This is an opportunity to evaluate, with no ranking promise.

A few details
Can I see past results?
This is a new focused offer. The Texas Deck & Fence report is a real independent public-site audit, not a past client result. The Audit Desk demo lets you preview your own CSV or use a fictional sample. The free sample lets you judge the work on your own site before paying.
Will you need account access?
The audit starts with the public website. Read-only Search Console data can be reviewed if you choose to supply it. We do not ask for admin passwords.
